Cambro is dedicated to providing food service operators world wide with plastic-based smallwares and equipment. Our products are used for storing, displaying, serving, holding and transporting food as well as storing and cleaning dishware.
In 1951, the founder, William P. Campbell, ventured into the fiberglass tray business. Starting in a 900 square foot facility in Hollywood, California in 1956, Cambro's fiberglass presses grew to service the general foodservice industry with bowls and trays. Cambro has since grown from a single product - fiberglass trays - to a full line of foodservice products.
Cambro's ability to instantly fill the needs of the foodservice market is a result of state-of-the-art, on-site product engineering design and manufacturing, advanced computer ordering and data systems. The Customer Service Department opens at 6:00a.m. Pacific Time to get a jump on daily national needs. Cambro's progressive nature is responsive to the immediate needs and trends of the foodservice industry. This is particularly evident in Cambro's new products. Cambro's aggressive marketing programs are designed to support distributors and dealers while building demand with end-users.
