SERVE IN INDIVIDUAL SERVING DISHES OR 1/2 STEAM PAN
OVEN METHOD Combine 2 3/4 quarts (11 cups) boiling water, 1/2 cup butter or margarine, rice and contents of seasoning pouch in a full size steam table pan. Stir well.Cover and bake in a 350°F conventional oven until most of the liquid is absorbed (about 35 minutes). Stir well. Keep warm (160°F). Fluff with fork before serving. STOVETOP Combine 2 3/4 quarts (11 cups) water and 1/2 cup butter or margarine in a stockpot. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice and contents of seasoning pouch. Reduce heat to a gentle boil (simmer) and cook covered, stirring occasionally until most of the liquid has been absorbed (about 20-25 minutes). Stir well and transfer to a serving pan. Keep warm (160°F). Fluff with fork before serving.
