Sugar Foods introduced Sweet N Low Americas leading sugar substitute to the foodservice industry in 1958 and Sugar In The Raw, the leading brand of turbinado sugar in 1974.  The success of these marked the beginning of sustained growth for what started in 1948 as a privately held company marketing bulk sugar and sugar packets to the food service industry.

Today, Sugar Foods Corporation is an industry leader serving every segment of the food business as suppliers of:  sugar substitutes, natural sugar, powdered non-dairy creamer, croutons and almonds. Our specialty items include: crisp 'n fresh, dry mix salad dressings, crushed red pepper, parmesan cheese, N'Joy iodized salt and pepper, Nu-Salt salt substitute, imitation bacon bits and almond toppers.
