Cookietree Bakeries is a leading supplier of Bake & Serve Cookie dough as well as Thaw & Serve cookies to the Food Service industry.

The company started in 1981 as a small retail cookie shop in Provo, Utah.  Its success was based on a special dough recipe loaded with high quality chocolate.  From the very beginning, ordinary chips of chocolate were not good enough for a Cookietree cookie.  Large chunks of pure chocolate were folded into the dough.

Two months after opening, Cookietree Bakeries had developed a large customer base of local foodservice operators.  In 1982 Cookietree started freezing their fresh baked cookies so they could be shipped outside the local Utah market as a “Thaw-and-Serve” product.  With in seven months, distribution of this new line of Thaw & Serve cookies extended to all of the western states.  

In 1985 Cookietree Bakeries expanded its’ product offerings to include frozen cookie dough for those operators who preferred to bake fresh but did not want all of the hassle of baking from scratch.  By 1988 Cookietree Bakeries business extended all the way to Europe and Japan.

 Today, Cookietree Bakeries has national and international distribution selling cookies throughout North America as well as in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
